The Academy provides non-formal education in civic engagement for upper-secondary and university students through five interconnected meetings focused on self-awareness, activation, participation, innovation, and cooperation. The main objective is to empower young people to become active citizens in their communities, to gain practical tools for participation, to express their opinions with confidence, and to design and implement their own projects, including digital technologies. The programme promotes cooperation across regions, age groups, and different types of schools, highlighting the value of diversity. A key long-term goal is sustainability through building strong personal relationships. The Academy supports participants in connecting with peers and collaborators, fostering a supportive community based on solidarity, mutual support, and respect for diverse perspectives.
