The project aims to strengthen learners’ oral language skills in real-life situations, enhance their self-confidence and motivation for lifelong learning, and promote social inclusion – particularly for (older) learners in rural areas. It also seeks to develop digital and AI competences, foster European values and a sense of belonging, and provide opportunities for international learning experiences.
VHS Cham faces particular challenges in adult language education: diverse learning backgrounds, limited opportunities for real-life language practice in a rural area, and uncertainties in dealing with new learning formats. Through mobility projects, we aim to offer learners – including senior participants – authentic language experiences, intercultural encounters, and renewed learning motivation while strengthening their participation and self-confidence.
