Objectives

Through the combination of job shadowing and individual learning mobilities, European cooperation and networking will be strengthened through inclusive, sustainable, digital, and civic approaches. Job shadowing aims to enhance structural quality at organisational and methodological levels, while individual participants expand their competences and gain new opportunities for civic engagement in an international context.

Background

The BDAT is a nationwide organisation for non-formal and informal adult education in amateur theatre. Amateur theatre contributes to democratic participation as well as cultural education and civic engagement. Social, environmental, and digital changes are creating new demands. To address these challenges, strengthened European networking, new impulses, and learning from experienced organisations are needed to further develop amateur theatre.
