Objectives

Through this youth exchange project, we aim to achieve a significant transformation in how young Europeans approach diversity and combat prejudice. We aim to raise awareness and actively deconstruct racial and cultural stereotypes using a universal and engaging tool: food. By creating workshops where young people share their family stories through recipes, we use food as a concrete vector for dialogue and empathy, allowing sensitive topics to be addressed in a non-threatening and deeply personal way. Our ambition is to develop participants' intercultural skills and emotional intelligence through collaborative immersion. Using non-formal education methods such as forum theatre, critical media analysis, and the co-creation of a public event, young people will learn to navigate multicultural environments, manage misunderstandings, and build together, thereby strengthening their relational agility and mutual understanding. We aim to document and valorise migratory histories and family culinary heritages as essential components of Europe's shared cultural heritage. By mapping the routes of flavours and producing a cookbook of recipes paired with stories, we help young people, especially those with a migration background, to strengthen their self-esteem and recognise the richness of their multiple heritages. Finally, we are committed to equipping these young people to become anti-discrimination ambassadors in their local communities. By training them in the "food for dialogue" methodology and integrating them into a sustainable network, we transform them from participants into active multipliers, capable of organising their own intercultural dialogue initiatives and thus contributing to a more inclusive and cohesive European society.
