By implementing this project, we want to create a youth-led learning space where young people from different countries can meet, exchange experiences, and reflect together on environmental challenges that affect our everyday lives. From the perspective of youth work practice, our main aim is to support young people in turning awareness about sustainability into realistic and meaningful action through non-formal education and intercultural exchange. Our objectives are to: O1: To deepen our understanding of environmental challenges through intercultural exchange, by comparing how environmental issues are experienced and addressed in our different local and national contexts. O2: To strengthen our practical competences for sustainable everyday actions, by actively participating in hands-on, non-formal learning activities related to waste reduction, responsible consumption, and environmental awareness. O3: To empower us to take small but concrete actions in our local communities, by developing simple and achievable follow-up ideas that we can realistically implement after returning home. O4: To foster intercultural dialogue and cooperation among us as young people, by working together in mixed international groups, reflecting on cultural differences, and building mutual understanding around shared environmental concerns. Overall, we see this project as a youth work practice that focuses on learning by doing, peer learning, and active participation, helping young people develop competences that are relevant for their personal development and for their role as active and responsible members of society.
