Objectives

The project aims to strengthen youth work practice by equipping young people with practical tools to improve their mental health, emotional resilience, and social participation. From a youth work perspective, the main objective is to create a safe non-formal learning environment where young people from different countries can reflect on stress, anxiety, and digital pressure and learn constructive coping strategies. We want to empower youth workers and young participants to recognise mental health as a key dimension of inclusion and active citizenship. The project promotes methods such as mindfulness, creative expression, peer support, and healthy lifestyle habits that can be transferred into daily youth work. Another objective is to develop young people’s social, intercultural, and civic competences through cooperation between participants from Germany, Bulgaria, Romania, and Estonia. The project seeks to strengthen inclusion by involving a high number of participants with fewer opportunities and by adapting youth work methods to their specific needs. It also aims to encourage young people to become multipliers in their communities, able to organise local initiatives on well-being and support their peers. Finally, the project contributes to the professional development of youth workers by exchanging good practices and building long-term European partnerships focused on mental health and inclusion. Project Objectives are: - To provide a secure, non-formal learning environment where participants from diverse backgrounds can practice emotional expression and develop positive coping mechanisms for stressful situations, thereby fostering mental resilience. - To empower young people to identify socio-environmental stressors and equip them with practical, transferable tools and European-level resources to manage stress effectively in their daily lives. - To introduce and practice self-regulation techniques, such as meditation and mindfulness, promoting a culture of inner peace and mental health awareness as a foundation for personal growth. - To encourage the adoption of a balanced lifestyle by exploring the connection between physical activity, nutrition, and mental health, motivating participants to integrate these healthy habits into their local communities. - To facilitate a creative, inclusive environment that promotes mutual learning and the exchange of best practices between participants from different cultures, enhancing their social and civic competencies. - To inspire participants to take an active role in the future Erasmus+ initiatives, fostering a sense of European identity and a commitment to lifelong learning and skill development. Our project aligns closely with the overarching goals of the Erasmus+ Program and Youth Key Action, as it seeks to enhance healthy lifestyles, critical thinking, and the sense of initiative among young individuals. Ultimately, our aim is to guide young people toward becoming more peaceful, productive individuals and to encourage their continued engagement in diverse Erasmus+ projects.
