This project is focused mostly on developing competence of cultural awareness and expression and has such objectives as: • providing opportunities to reflect the participants´ identities, including understanding, developing and expressing one’s own ideas and sense of place or role in society in a variety of ways and contexts; • raising their awareness of issues of diversity, stereotypes and ability to overcome them in interactions with others as well as to live and work together in diverse groups and society; • improving young people´s understanding of and respect for how ideas and meaning are creatively expressed and communicated through a range of arts, and particularly through storytelling and cinema; • empowering young people with skills to make art, and particularly films, as well as to help them explore their own creativity; • to provide the participants opportunity to get to know dozens of their peers from six partner countries from different parts of Europe and its neighbouring regions (Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Georgia and Turkey) and experience overcoming stereotypes and co-existing and enjoy co-creation in the context of diversity; • empowering young people with new ways of learning about topical and controversial issues; • broaden the horizons of youth by looking for different perspectives and learning from their peers. Besides that this project provides young people with an opportunity to be heard and the society to hear youth voice through dissemination of project results.
