“Living with AI: Shaping Our Future” is a Youth Exchange project that brings together young people from 6 Erasmus+ Programme countries Germany, Spain, Italy, Latvia, Poland, and Turkey to explore how Artificial Intelligence is reshaping education, work, and daily life. While AI opens many opportunities, it also creates challenges: schools often provide limited practical knowledge about AI, many young people feel unsure about how to use it safely and responsibly, and those from rural or disadvantaged backgrounds risk being left behind in the digital transition. The project aims to raise awareness about AI, strengthen employability related competences, and create a culture of responsible and innovative technology use. By addressing issues such as education gaps, inequality, and the ethical use of AI, the project helps young people see technology not as a threat but as a tool for creativity, learning, and active participation in society. Activities will be based on non-formal and informal learning methods including role-play, debates, workshops, future-scenario simulations, peer-to-peer exchanges, and collaborative projects. These approaches will encourage intercultural dialogue, critical thinking, and cooperation, while also strengthening teamwork, adaptability, and leadership skills. In this way, participants will be empowered to take a proactive role in shaping their futures and supporting their communities. Project Objectives - give young people the chance to learn what AI is, how it works, and how it affects education, daily life, and future jobs - build competences such as critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork to prepare youth for rapid change - promote responsible and ethical use of AI as an opportunity rather than a threat - create an open intercultural space for sharing experiences and perspectives - support inclusion by ensuring equal access to opportunities for young people with fewer opportunities - foster cultural diversity, tolerance, cooperation, and mutual understanding - promote Erasmus+ as a platform for non-formal education and Youthpass as a tool for recognising competences and self-assessment The whole project will be based on non-formal and informal methods of education, such as role-play, debates, workshops, future-scenario simulations, peer-to-peer exchanges, and collaborative projects.
