Objectives

The BOOST project – Business Opportunities, Outreach, Skills, and Training is designed to equip youth workers with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to empower young people as socially responsible leaders and innovators. In a world where communities face complex social and economic challenges, BOOST seeks to cultivate a generation of proactive, creative, and entrepreneurial youth who can address these challenges with sustainable solutions. By focusing on youth workers as mentors, facilitators, and role models, the project ensures a multiplying effect, generating lasting impact that extends well beyond the initial group of participants. BOOST will strengthen the leadership capabilities of youth workers, enabling them to mentor and guide young people more effectively. The training will emphasize critical competencies such as emotional intelligence, strategic decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills essential for supporting diverse youth groups in social entrepreneurship initiatives. A central element of BOOST is to promote an entrepreneurial mindset among youth workers, encouraging them to inspire young people to identify opportunities, think creatively, and take initiative in addressing social, environmental, and economic challenges. Participants will gain hands-on experience through experiential learning, applying business principles and social innovation strategies to real-world problems. The project also integrates social and environmental responsibility into entrepreneurship education. Youth workers will learn how to guide initiatives that balance profitability with sustainable community impact, fostering ethical and socially conscious entrepreneurship. BOOST will foster the creation of a strong, cross-border network of youth workers, promoting collaboration, peer learning, and the exchange of best practices. This network will serve as a long-term support system, enabling youth workers to refine approaches, brainstorm ideas, and implement impactful projects in their local contexts. Through interactive workshops, simulations, and real-world project development, participants will also enhance their capacity to deliver engaging non-formal education activities, cultivating critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills among young people. BOOST project represents an innovative approach to youth work and social entrepreneurship. By empowering youth workers, the project strengthens professional development while creating a sustainable ecosystem in which young people can thrive as future leaders, social innovators, and changemakers. The long-term vision is to build resilient and inclusive communities through collective action, entrepreneurial innovation, and shared commitment to social impact. Objectives: Equip youth workers with essential knowledge and skills in social entrepreneurship, business education, and social impact strategies, enabling them to mentor young people in developing socially responsible ventures. Train youth workers to become effective leaders and mentors who can inspire, guide, and support young entrepreneurs, fostering resilience, adaptability, and ethical decision-making. Create opportunities for collaborative learning through workshops, peer-to-peer exchanges, and mentorship, promoting the sharing of experiences and best practices Establish and enhance networks between youth workers, social enterprises, educational institutions, and other stakeholders Promote EU youth goals and agenda, contributing to the development of the new EU youth program and fostering youth dialogue in Martinique
