The “From Virtual to Reality: Digital Tools for Inclusive Youth Work” project aims to enhance the competences of youth workers across Europe in the use of digital tools and inclusive methodologies, ensuring that youth work practice becomes more innovative, accessible, and quality-oriented. By participating in a training course in Antalya, Türkiye from 15–22 September 2026, youth workers from eight partner organisations — Phoenix Knowledge Wings gGmbH (Germany, Applicant), EDU TECH GRYPHON DISCOVERIES, Stichting CODINE, CCIF Malta, Youth CRL (Spain), Fundacja “Zielony Słoń”, VšĮ “Apglėbk pasauli”, and Aydın Eğitim ve Gençlik Derneği (Host, Türkiye) will develop skills that can be immediately applied in their organisations’ daily work with young people. The primary objectives of the project from a youth work perspective are: To strengthen digital competence and critical digital literacy of youth workers, enabling them to design and facilitate inclusive digital learning activities for young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, NEETs, or migrants. To promote inclusive and participatory youth work methodologies, allowing youth workers to create safe, engaging, and empowering learning environments that recognize and respond to the diverse needs of young people. To foster innovation and quality in youth work, ensuring that partner organisations adopt evidence-based and technology-supported approaches in their programs and initiatives. To develop peer networks and international cooperation, encouraging youth workers to exchange experiences, share best practices, and create sustainable collaboration frameworks across European organisations. To facilitate recognition and validation of learning outcomes, enabling youth workers to reflect on and document their newly acquired competences through Youthpass, and to implement structured learning pathways in their organisations. To strengthen organisational capacity, equipping partner NGOs with practical tools, methodologies, and digital resources that improve youth engagement, outreach, and service delivery. To ensure long-term impact, preparing youth workers to act as multipliers who can disseminate project results at local, regional, national, and European levels, reaching other youth workers, educational institutions, local communities, and policy stakeholders. The project’s implementation will combine interactive workshops, peer learning, tool demonstrations, case studies, and reflective sessions, all designed around non-formal and experiential learning principles. The training will also include sessions on safe online engagement, e-learning platforms, and inclusive digital facilitation techniques. By the end of the project, participants will be able to apply new digital tools and methodologies to their youth work practice, create action plans for integration into their organisations, and engage in structured dissemination activities. This ensures that the project not only improves the competences of individual youth workers but also enhances the overall quality, inclusivity, and sustainability of youth work across the partner organisations and beyond. Ultimately, the project contributes to Erasmus+ objectives by promoting social inclusion, lifelong learning, digital skills development, intercultural dialogue, and active citizenship, reinforcing the capacity of youth workers to respond effectively to the challenges and opportunities of contemporary European youth work.
