By implementing this project, we aim to strengthen the quality, reflection and European relevance of youth work in the field of cultural education. From a youth work practice perspective, the project seeks to support youth workers in critically reflecting on what cultural education means in their daily work and how it can contribute to participation, inclusion, democratic values and young people’s wellbeing in different national contexts. A core objective of the project is to enable youth workers to understand, interpret and apply the UNESCO Framework for Culture and Arts Education as a practical orientation tool for non-formal and informal youth work. Through transnational mobility and peer learning, participants will compare different national approaches to cultural education, learn from each other’s practices and develop a shared, yet diverse European understanding. The project further aims to improve youth workers’ competences in using arts-based and participatory methods, in reflecting on quality and impact, and in positioning their work within broader cultural, educational and youth policy debates. Overall, the project aims to empower youth workers as reflective practitioners, multipliers and advocates for cultural education within youth work, contributing to more inclusive, innovative and value-based youth work practices across Europe.
