Our project aims to strengthen effective and structurally embedded youth participation in Europe from the perspective of young people. We seek to compare, reflect on, and jointly further develop existing participation formats in Germany and Slovakia. The focus is not on symbolic involvement, but on genuine co-decision and real political influence. Through direct exchange with parliaments, political decision-makers, and youth representative bodies, participants gain an in-depth understanding of democratic processes. A central objective is the joint development of a youth-led statement or strategy paper that formulates concrete political demands and is designed to be sustainably integrated into existing participation structures.
