Objectives

Project Summary: Project Game Changer Objectives: The project tackles physical inactivity and the lack of infrastructure ("classroom-based sports") in Munich and Nicosia. Our goal is to empower young people to prevent the loss of sports facilities and reduce dropout rates in youth sports (U14–U18). We aim to establish "Physical Literacy" as an educational standard for lifelong health. Activities & Implementation: Dialogue: A "Policy Slam" connects youth directly with city councils and ministries to secure commitments for gym renovations. Manifesto: Participants from Germany and Cyprus co-create a "Physical Literacy Manifesto" with political demands for modern physical education. Methodology: We use the "Ball in Schools" model to train junior coaches, promoting physical activity despite limited resources. Digital Advocacy: An IT-driven campaign visualizes the crisis and gives a strong political voice to youth with fewer opportunities.
