With politikorange, we aim to empower young people to participate actively, knowledgeably, and confidently in social and political discourse. By combining political education with practical journalistic work, we seek to strengthen media and information literacy, critical thinking, and democratic skills. Participants learn to independently research and classify political and social issues and to make them publicly visible from their perspective. At the same time, the project aims to promote self-efficacy, responsibility, and engagement among young people, as well as to create spaces for constructive dialogue and peer-to-peer learning. In addition, politikorange aims to contribute to diversity in journalism, strengthen young perspectives in the public sphere, and build a nationwide network of committed young media makers in the long term.
