By implementing this project, we aim to ensure that young people are not only sensitised to climate policy, but are actively involved as key actors in democratic decision-making processes. Based on a need identified directly by young people themselves, the project seeks to reduce the gap between youth perspectives and political decision-making structures in the context of the Bonn Process. The central objective of the project is to strengthen young people’s capacities to articulate their concerns in a structured way, to understand political processes, and to bring their own proposals into dialogue with decision makers. Through two consecutive international activities, young people will develop concrete policy recommendations on youth participation in the field of climate action and translate these into implementable project ideas.
