The "Youth Participation Musical - The Flood" mobility project aims to motivate young people to engage in climate and environmental protection by performing a musical on the topic. Participating young people will travel in an environmentally friendly way, sailing aboard a three-masted schooner to seven ports along the German Baltic coast. There, they will perform the musical and moderate a climate talk with decision-makers. We anticipate an audience of approximately 3,000 and around 30 decision-makers participating in the climate talks. Information booths will also be set up to explain opportunities for participation. Pre- and post-event meetings will ensure effective participation and evaluation. The goal is to strengthen young people's democratic awareness, their commitment to climate and environmental issues, and their artistic abilities, further developing their skills. They will become active participants in shaping their own lives and experience self-efficacy.
