Objectives

The project Beyond Walls: Youth Transforming Public Spaces empowers young people to become agents of change by reimagining public spaces as hubs of inclusion, creativity and democracy. Its core objective is to equip youth with tools to co-design and animate urban and rural spaces, making them accessible meeting points for diverse communities. Through artistic activities, policy dialogue and civic engagement, participants will strengthen competences in leadership, advocacy and intercultural cooperation. Priority is given to NEETs, Roma, migrants and rural youth, ensuring that those facing barriers are at the centre. The project also reinforces partner organisations’ capacity to integrate art and participation into youth work. By connecting youth proposals with local and European policy frameworks, the initiative aligns with Erasmus+ priorities and Youth Goals 3, 4 and 10, leaving a legacy of youth-led democratic innovation and sustainable civic engagement.
