With the Youth Representation Conference, we want to make youth participation in Bavaria more effective, visible, and sustainable. Local youth representatives evaluate their experiences from five years of development together and build on them instead of working in parallel. We empower young people as democratic actors and improve their skills in moderation, communication, advocacy, and results-oriented collaboration. At the same time, we are refining practice-based quality standards and translating them into actionable recommendations. A structured dialogue with decision-makers and actors in youth work ensures that youth perspectives are incorporated into responsibilities and next steps. This creates a statewide learning space that particularly strengthens youth representatives from rural areas and expands the DVBJ network.
