EUROPAKONZIL 2027 – #KonstanzConnects aims to bring together 60 young people from six nations in Konstanz in order to raise their awareness of socially relevant European issues and to inspire them about Europe and democracy. The objective is to impart a range of skills and to empower the young participants to continue engaging as active citizens beyond the project itself, whether in civil society or in political decision-making processes. The project strengthens key competencies for intercultural exchange, including linguistic and cultural understanding, solidarity, openness, tolerance, and cooperation. In addition, participants are provided with tools for responsible, respectful, and democratic action in their everyday lives, enabling them to feel capable and confident in their role as active citizens. At the same time, the project contributes to strengthening and further developing town-twinning partnerships in a way that is relevant and accessible to young people.
