We want to establish BruncHUB Talks: Voices, Ideas, Action as a community-based dialogue format, a recurring, low-threshold participation space in Berlin where young people regularly meet, build trust and take an active role in dialogue and community life. The project transforms monthly brunch gatherings into structured yet welcoming spaces, strengthening young people’s agency by enabling them to express their views, explore issues affecting their everyday realities and co-create ideas and follow-up actions. Our objectives are to increase meaningful youth participation at local level, especially for young people with fewer opportunities; develop competences for democratic engagement (constructive dialogue, critical thinking, communication, teamwork); strengthen belonging, wellbeing and social connectedness through safe, inclusive spaces; and establish a sustainable participation format that can continue beyond the funding period.
