The implementation of youthCON aims to give young people low-threshold, participatory access to European issues. The goal is to strengthen interest in Europe, European values, and democratic participation, and to make Europe a relevant place to live and shape. The project aims to promote young people's self-efficacy by actively involving them in the design, implementation, and evaluation. Young people should experience that their perspectives matter and that they can help shape social and political processes. In addition, democratic skills such as critical thinking, dialogue skills, tolerance, and a sense of responsibility should be strengthened. youthCON aims to reach young people who have had little access to political education or participation formats and offer them spaces for exchange, encounter, and creative engagement.
