We will connect youth perspectives with European policies, particularly regional Baltic Sea-EU policies. The project addresses the uncertainty young people face in the wake of crises such as climate change, nationalism, and geopolitical conflicts. It aims to move beyond a crisis mode by creating safe spaces, collaborative youth initiatives, and ageappropriate discussions to address their needs and interests in participation, democracy, and Europe. Our approach follows a specific Baltic Sea perspective as a macro-regional foundation for a broader pan-European vision. Young people often lack the skills and opportunities for meaningful participation. Yet, they are the experts when it comes to their own future. That is why we aim to empower them by strengthening their soft skills and international experience, enabling them to engage in meaningful participation. They will develop reform ideas and feed them directly into the political process through concrete agreements with policymakers.
