Objectives

The project aims to provide 50 young people aged 18 to 21 with fewer opportunities due to financial disadvantage, migration or refugee experience, language barriers, or social isolation with first-time access to European mobility. Through self-designed, six-day train journeys to European countries, participants will strengthen their self-efficacy, intercultural competence, democratic participation, and European identity. Youth work is based on non-formal education, participation, and peer learning to empower young people as active designers of their learning processes. Supported preparation, professional accompaniment during travel, and structured follow-up ensure safety, quality, and sustainable impact. The project promotes environmental awareness through exclusive train mobility and daily reflection on sustainable practices. In the long term, alumni will act as multipliers to motivate other young people and reduce barriers to mobility access. The project thus contributes to equal opportunities, social inclusion, and an inclusive, sustainable Europe.
