Student interest in placement abroad is increasing, as is the political focus on this area. Our experience shows that students gain greater independence and develop stronger intercultural competencies through international placements. We therefore wish to strengthen the opportunity for as large and diverse a group of students as possible to undertake placement abroad. At the same time, we aim to develop our evaluation procedures to continue improving the quality of international placements.
SOSU Nord educates the welfare professionals of the future. As the sector becomes more diverse and complex, it's our ambition ensure that our students develop strong intercultural competencies. As part of this, we aim to offer our students placements abroad. This strengthens their professional skills, independence, and international mindset. An Erasmus+ project makes international placement more accessible, enhances quality, and can help strengthen recruitment to welfare educations.
