The project's objectives are work-related learning, social and personal competences, as well as democratic formation and learning of the European community. The goal is that the students through joint academic learning activities get work-related learning in a new learning arena. The trip, stay and joint activities strengthen the learners' personal and social competences, and the democratic formation must give the learners experiences with active citizenship in a European context.
FGU Vestegnen has applied for funding to carry out the project, because we consider it to be of great value to give students the opportunity to participate in a mobility at a VET school in Europe. This is important, both for the student's work-related learning and strengthening of personal, social and academic competences, and for organisational development in connection to implement new pedagogical initiatives and teaching courses in a new learning arena with a focus on sustainability.
