Goose Network is an informal network that aims to improve the quality of environmental, nature, cultural and peace activities in European Scout and Guide centres, as well as to develop the skills of our volunteers and spread good practices between our centres by sharing ideas, activities and information. There are 2 objectives of this project: To share, develop and inform all the members of the network about new activities with focus on environment, green practices, nature, culture and peace To train and develop youth workers in networking, knowledge exchange, new activities, collaboration with other NGOs, inspiration and knowledge of working with nature, the environment, sustainability, green practices, and peace And this is exactly what we want to achieve with this seminar: to be able to educate and inspire youth workers, who can bring new knowledge, inspiration and activities home to their Scout centre. By implementing this seminar, participants will gain concrete skills and competencies in education and knowledge of how to do activities with focus on nature, environment, sustainability, green practices, and peace. Participants will gain knowledge and understanding of how to do activities at other scout centers and thereby gain knowledge and inspiration to take home to their own scout center. Participants will open their eyes to what international cooperation can mean for their own development and understanding of the EU and the world around them. Participants will gain a better understanding of inclusion and diversity and learn to listen to and respect other people regardless of gender, faith, opinions, and politics. Participants will gain knowledge on how to collaborate with local or national NGOs in order to improve and develop the activities they offer at scout centers. Participants will gain new knowledge on how to take climate action and active citizenship, By implementing this seminar, participants will come home to their scout center with a lot of new knowledge, inspiration and activities that they will be able to implement at their scout center. They will be able to educate and inspire the youth workers at their scout center who did not have the opportunity to come to the seminar. By implementing this seminar, the children and young people who come to the Goose scout centers will meet committed and well-educated youth workers who pass on their knowledge and commitment to the children and young people. Thus, the children and young people who come to the Goose center will gain new knowledge and interest and take their knowledge home with them.
