The youth project Culture Cauldron aims to establish a growth environment for young people who wish to develop the field of folk enlightenment through new approaches, themes, and activities. Culture Cauldron is conceived as an experimental space where young people, working together, generate ideas for democratic learning, debate, and creativity, and subsequently test and try out these formats in a public forum. The project’s priorities are Inclusion, Dialogue and Free Speech, Space and Participation for All. Within this thematic framework, the focus is on community-based activities that promote young people’s engagement in areas such as climate and environment, recycling, upcycling, creative crafts, mental well-being, local politics, culture, art, and intergenerational encounters.
