Objectives

Participants will be prepared to think more broadly about cooperation beyond national borders. Students have gained skills in working with museum objects and basic skills in making Ingrian folk costumes. The participating teachers are ready to offer more hobby education trainings and are familiar with how to create their content, calculate the price and how to introduce them to potential participants.

Background

The aim is to give the students an international experience, considering that the tradition of Ingrian folk costumes is also strongly connected to Finland. The aim is to encourage them to use the Helsinki National Museum independently even after the end of the project and to collaborate with each other and with Finns. From the teachers' point of view, the applicant considers it important to give them the courage and ideas to focus on offering hobby-based training, rather than focusing on formal
