We aim to strengthen cross-departmental teamwork, establish a clear and transparent exhibition-making process and develop a shared code of good practice. Our goal is to ensure that exhibitions, public and education programmes are created through a systematic, collaborative approach based on audience needs and shared professional values.
At the Estonian National Museum, a new department was created to integrate exhibitions, public programmes and education. We aim to develop a unified and democratic workflow where different specialists are involved from the start of the process of creating an exhibition. The mobility project enables us to learn from Central European partners how to strengthen teamwork and address societal issues in an inclusive way, with the main focus on the experience of the visitor.
