Our project builds a bridge between school education and the labour market by equipping young people with practical and contemporary skills to present themselves convincingly and visibly in the digital environment. At the heart of the project is helping young people recognise their own potential and acquire new knowledge through both formal and non-formal education. By creating a personal brand, a video CV, and a digital portfolio, young people learn to understand and articulate their skills and strengths in a way that is clear, credible, and relevant to the labour market. The project enhances young people’s digital literacy and competitiveness. Participants achieve concrete and tangible outcomes. Each participant creates a professional online portfolio, a personalised video or digital CV, and high-quality photographic material, while also gaining digital skills that support their future employment prospects. At the same time, the project helps to reduce social and digital inequality. We provide a safe learning environment and offer young people with fewer opportunities access to high-quality technology, guidance, and mentoring. An important part of the project is strengthening young people’s self-confidence and self-awareness. For many, self-presentation and public speaking are the greatest barriers when seeking employment. Through interview simulations, practical exercises, and supportive feedback, we teach presentation skills and help young people express themselves clearly, calmly, and confidently. From a youth work perspective, this is not merely a job-seeking training programme, but a holistic development process in which young people learn to understand themselves, their values, and their role in society. The project is based on formal and non-formal education and experiential learning, where young people are active creators rather than passive listeners. In a safe and supportive environment, making mistakes is allowed and becomes a natural part of the learning process. Peer learning and collaboration strengthen responsibility, autonomy, and the belief that young people themselves are the architects of their own careers. The project has a broader impact: we support young people in becoming confident, digitally competent, and economically independent individuals who are active in society and ready to contribute to the development of their communities. Our goal is to ensure that a young person who has participated in the project enters the labour market not with uncertainty, but as a self-aware and value-creating individual, equipped with the skills, confidence, and tools needed to make themselves visible and to shape their future more effectively.
