This project aims to empower young women by strengthening their self-confidence, emotional resilience, and personal safety through youth work practices. Using non-formal education, participants will develop skills in boundary setting, stress management, risk awareness, and mutual support. The project also promotes safeguarding awareness and respectful behaviour within youth environments. Another core objective is to strengthen solidarity between young women from different cultural backgrounds, encouraging intercultural dialogue and the exchange of practices related to rights, protection mechanisms, and gender equality across Europe. By doing so, we aim to support the development of confident young individuals who feel capable of protecting themselves, supporting others, and contributing to safer communities. The project is grounded in a trauma-informed approach that prioritises psychological safety and respectful participation throughout the learning process. By integrating body-based learning methods with emotional awareness, the project supports participants in developing resilience, self-trust, and practical strategies for personal safety in a supportive intercultural environment.
