Objectives

According to the HBSC 2021/2022 international survey, the mental well-being and life satisfaction of young people have significantly decreased. Research confirms that creative activities are an effective tool in supporting mental health. Our main goal is to support the mental health and well-being of young people through creative methods of self-expression, helping them acquire skills for understanding emotions and creating coping strategies. With the project, we want to create a safe environment where young people can openly discuss mental health issues such as anxiety, low self-esteem, stress and depression, and reduce prejudices related to these issues. Another important goal of the project is to promote intercultural communication and cooperation. Young people learn to work together with peers from other cultures, sharing their experiences and learning from different coping strategies. The international environment shows them that mental health challenges are universal, which reduces isolation and shame. The aim is also to introduce young people to the opportunities of the Erasmus+ programme, encouraging them to use international opportunities to support their development and well-being. Our aim is to support young people’s personal growth by providing them with practical skills such as self-expression, empathy and peer support. The project encourages young people to be more active members of the community on mental health issues, encouraging them to share their knowledge and creative methods with their peers and to be leaders of change in reducing prejudice.
