The aim of the project is to strengthen youth participation in Tartu County and to build the capacity of the Tartu County Youth Council and local municipal youth councils to take part in decision-making processes. The project will increase young people’s awareness and skills in participation democracy, advocacy and cooperation with decision makers, while establishing a functional county-wide youth council network. It will create regular dialogue between young people and municipalities and collect youth proposals to contribute to the Tartu County development strategy and local planning processes.
