Objectives

The objective of the THREADS OF RESILIENCE project is to build staff skills in trauma-informed care, improve how we recognise and respond to trauma, and create safer learning environments. Through the group mobility activity, we want to strengthen adult learners’ resilience and emotional regulation, peer-support skills and integrate trauma-informed principles into all our work, in addition developing a small community support network that promotes trust, empathy and collaboration.

Background

INNOVIERA decided to apply for the THREADS OF RESILIENCE project to become a more confident, trauma-informed organisation and be able to better support our learners. We work with adults who often face personal and community trauma, like job loss, burnout, exclusion and instability, and they need safer, more supportive and inclusive learning environments. This project will help us gain deeper skills in trauma-informed practices and understand how to apply this knowledge in practice.
