The objective of the project is to train beneficiaries and trainers in the principles of permaculture as a holistic and inclusive approach to agriculture, horticulture and universal design. We seek to renew our educational methods and models in order to improve their performance and to strengthen the self-confidence and self-advocacy of people with intellectual disabilities through active participation and knowledge transfer. Finally, we seek to develop European networking and new partnerships.
In the context of the development of our organization, we seek ways to enhance our educational work for adults with intellectual disabilities through inclusive, experiential learning. Our Gardening workshop is particularly active and seeks new, sustainable methods. We believe that the philosophy and values of permaculture will provide us with practical techniques and adaptable educational approaches that can be integrated into the daily operation of our workshops.
