We aim to: 1) Train 3 teachers in Circular Economy and "Zero Waste" strategies. 2) Integrate sustainable practices into Economy and Health sectors through 4 new lesson plans. 3) Enhance students' entrepreneurial mindset by linking local production (wine, oil, cheese) with alternative tourism. 4) Upgrade the school’s digital and environmental profile through eTwinning and the reduction of our overall ecological footprint during and after the project.
1st VET School of Argostoli applies for this project to modernize vocational education in Cephalonia. Our students, coming from traditional farming backgrounds, lack motivation and knowledge regarding sustainability. We aim to bridge the gap between tradition and innovation by training our staff in Circular Economy. This will allow us to offer students modern career prospects that protect the local ecosystem and transform traditional practices into sustainable business models.
