We want to achieve three goals: first, to strengthen the practical skills of 20 Nursing and Medical Laboratory students through mobility in Izmir. Second, to train 8 teachers in social integration practices through job shadowing at CEIPES in Palermo. Third, to develop international partnerships that will give our school an active European presence.
We applied for this project because our students in the Health Sector need practical experience that we cannot offer them locally. Karditsa has only one hospital with limited places, while most of our students come from rural families affected by the floods. At the same time, our teachers need training in social inclusion strategies to better support students with fewer opportunities.
