Objectives

Objectives: The primary goal of "THISSAM 2026" is to empower youth workers to become "Digital Guardians" in an era of information disorder. We aim to bridge the gap between traditional youth work and the rapidly evolving digital landscape (AI, Deepfakes, Algorithmic Polarization). Specific Objectives: Digital Resilience: To equip youth workers with advanced verification tools (fact-checking, geolocation) to help young people navigate disinformation. Mobile Journalism (MoJo): To train participants in creating high-quality, value-based content using only smartphones, turning them from passive consumers to active producers of democratic narratives. Intercultural Dialogue: To foster "Peace Journalism" by bringing together youth from the Western Balkans (Kosovo) and the EU (Romania, Greece) to deconstruct hate speech narratives affecting their regions. AI Literacy: To demystify Artificial Intelligence for youth workers, providing ethical guidelines on how to use AI tools in non-formal education.
