The primary goal of this project is to enhance the competencies of youth workers in the field of social entrepreneurship, particularly in working with marginalized youth, including refugees, migrants, asylum seekers, and young people with fewer opportunities. Through a structured Professional Development Activity (PDA), youth workers will develop practical skills, methodologies, and tools that enable them to support young people in developing entrepreneurial mindsets, gaining employability skills, and fostering economic self-sufficiency. The project seeks to bridge the gap between youth work and the entrepreneurial sector, equipping youth workers with innovative approaches to empower disadvantaged youth. Another key objective is to promote the use of non-formal education methods in youth work practice to ensure inclusive and engaging learning experiences for young people. By utilizing interactive workshops, simulation exercises, digital tools, and experiential learning, the project will strengthen youth workers' ability to create dynamic, learner-centered environments that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-reflection. The training will also emphasize the importance of Youthpass and Europass as tools for recognizing and documenting learning outcomes, enabling youth workers to effectively support young people in their personal and professional development. The project also aims to strengthen international cooperation and networking among youth organizations, fostering long-term partnerships between participating organizations. By exchanging best practices, methodologies, and experiences, youth workers will gain new perspectives on youth empowerment strategies and develop a stronger capacity to address socio-economic challenges affecting young people across Europe. Additionally, the project will provide a platform for collaborative project development, enabling participating organizations to design and implement future Erasmus+ initiatives that further promote youth entrepreneurship and social inclusion. A crucial focus of this project is to empower youth workers to support the social integration of young refugees and migrants. By equipping them with practical tools and cultural sensitivity training, the project ensures that youth workers are better prepared to address issues of discrimination, social exclusion, and economic disparity. Participants will explore intercultural communication techniques, conflict resolution strategies, and mentorship models, allowing them to create inclusive learning environments where all young people, regardless of their background, feel valued and supported. The project aims not only to introduce youth workers to concepts of social entrepreneurship but also to equip them with specific, measurable skills directly applicable in their daily practice. By the end of the training, participants will: -Develop competence in designing social entrepreneurship initiatives (e.g., drafting a mini business plan using tools such as the Social Business Model Canvas). -Strengthen intercultural facilitation skills, enabling them to mediate between marginalized youth and local communities. -Acquire practical mentoring techniques for guiding young people, especially migrants and refugees, toward employability pathways. These outcomes will be monitored through targeted exercises, peer evaluation, and post-project surveys, ensuring a clear and logical link between the training activities and the learning results. This project aims to develop a tangible educational resource, the Toolkit, which will serve as a practical guide for youth workers across Europe. This toolkit will compile case studies, methodologies, and success stories, providing youth organizations with effective approaches to integrate entrepreneurship into youth work. The project will ensure that this resource is widely disseminated, making it accessible to youth organizations, policymakers, educators, and community leaders who seek to foster entrepreneurial thinking among marginalized youth. The project seeks to increase the visibility and recognition of social entrepreneurship as a viable career path for young people, especially those facing barriers to employment. By promoting entrepreneurship education within youth work, the project will contribute to reducing youth unemployment rates and providing young people with practical skills to create their own economic opportunities. Through dissemination efforts, local outreach activities, and online engagement, the project will influence youth policies and advocate for the integration of social entrepreneurship into youth work practices at the national and European levels.
