The project aims to strengthen the competences of youth workers, trainers and NGO staff to respond to the realities of an increasingly digital and multicultural society. From a youth work perspective, the main objective is to support professionals in developing stronger intercultural competence and a deeper understanding of ethical digital practice, especially in relation to artificial intelligence and its impact on young people’s lives. Through this training activity, the project seeks to improve the quality and relevance of youth work by equipping participants with practical methods, knowledge and facilitation skills that can be applied in their daily work. Youth workers will learn how to create safe learning environments where young people can reflect on values, cultural perspectives, responsibility and the ethical use of technology. The project will help them address complex topics such as bias, privacy, digital identity and social influence in a way that is accessible and meaningful for young people. Another key objective is to support youth workers in designing and delivering more innovative and inclusive educational activities based on non formal learning. Using the ETS Competence Model for Trainers as a framework, the project will strengthen competences related to facilitating learning processes, intercultural dialogue, reflection and competence based education. The project will also focus on the co creation of a practical toolkit that youth workers can use in their local activities. This toolkit will include methods and exercises that combine intercultural learning with ethical reflection on digital tools and artificial intelligence. The aim is to provide youth workers with concrete resources that can improve their practice and help them support young people in understanding the social and ethical dimensions of digital transformation. Overall, the project aims to contribute to the development of more reflective, inclusive and innovative youth work practices that support young people in navigating cultural diversity and technological change in a responsible and informed way.
