We want to strengthen meaningful youth participation in democratic life by helping young people navigate misinformation and polarised debate and by creating structured dialogue with decision makers. The project will run six one day Youth Participation Labs (30 young people and 5 decision makers each) and a national policy launch event in Athens (100 young people, 16 decision makers). Objectives are to build young people’s media literacy, verification and constructive dialogue skills, increase confidence and opportunities to participate, ensure inclusion with at least 25 percent young people with fewer opportunities, and co create evidence based recommendations. Results will include City Insights Briefs, a Youth Policy Paper and a commitments log from ministries and municipalities.
