Through this project, we aim to create a safe learning environment for non-formal education, in which five young people with fewer opportunities will develop life skills, autonomy, and self-confidence through an experiential learning process involving real-life challenges. The project uses travel as an educational tool and the absence of technology as a conscious methodological choice, so that young people can reconnect with their personal abilities and knowledge. This method will have an empowering effect, transforming participants from passive users of digital tools into active citizens who take initiatives, make decisions, manage uncertainty, and learn through experience. The main objectives of the project: 1. To strengthen the autonomy and responsibility of young people with fewer opportunities. Participants will take an active role in planning and implementing the trip (orientation, time management, recording, communication), strengthening their sense of personal responsibility and confidence in their abilities. 2. Developing basic life skills. Through real-life situations, participants will cultivate skills such as problem solving, adaptability, stress management, decision making, and critical thinking. 3. Strengthening social and communication skills. The absence of digital tools will create space for meaningful human interaction. Participants will learn to ask for help, communicate with strangers, collaborate, and manage conflicts within the group. 4. Cultivating a critical relationship with technology. The goal is not to reject technology, but to develop digital awareness. Young people will experience firsthand that technology is a tool and not a prerequisite for their functionality or value, reinforcing its balanced use. 5. Strengthening self-awareness and self-esteem. Through exposure to unfamiliar environments and the successful management of challenges, young people will recognize their strengths, redefine their limits, and reinforce their sense of "I can." 6. Promoting active participation and teamwork. The project is based on collective learning. Young people are encouraged to work as a team, make decisions together, and support each other, strengthening their sense of belonging and social participation. 7. Strengthening inclusion in practice. The project's methodology is tailored to the needs of young people with fewer opportunities, recognizing the barriers they face and turning them into learning opportunities, in line with the values of quality youth work. Our long-term goal is to create a common European identity. These young people will return to their communities, but not only with photos and experiences. They will obtain the YouthPass Certificate attesting to their new skills and will create a video that amplifies their voice, showing that they can make a difference in their local community. After the experience, they will have developed the self-confidence, resilience, and intercultural empathy they need to thrive as independent citizens in Europe.
