By implementing this project, we want to create a learning space where young people can explore a topic that matters to them and feel that their involvement has meaning. From a youth work perspective, our main aim is to support young people in becoming more aware, more confident and more active in their communities. We want to offer a non-formal learning experience where participants learn by doing. Through volunteering activities, workshops and daily cooperation, young people will have the chance to take responsibility, work together and reflect on their actions. Instead of receiving information passively, they will actively build knowledge about animal welfare and discover how individual actions can make a difference. Another important objective is to strengthen participation and inclusion. Many of the young people involved come from rural or isolated areas and have limited access to international projects. By involving them in all stages of the exchange, we want to support their sense of belonging, encourage them to express their ideas and help them feel comfortable in an international group. The project also aims to support personal development. Through reflection, group discussions and intercultural living, young people will become more aware of their strengths, challenges and learning process. They will practice communication, cooperation and empathy in a safe and supportive environment, guided by youth workers. Finally, we want to support young people in seeing themselves as active citizens. By creating awareness materials and sharing them at home, participants will understand that youth work does not stop at the end of the exchange, but continues through involvement, dialogue and small actions within their own communities.
