Grow with EI aims to strengthen the quality and inclusiveness of youth work practice by reinforcing the emotional intelligence competences of youth workers across partner organisations.The project responds to clearly identified needs within the consortium. Youth workers report practical challenges in managing group dynamics, supporting young people with fewer opportunities, preventing conflicts, maintaining motivation, and handling emotionally demanding situations. These realities directly influence the quality of non-formal education activities and the safety of youth spaces. The project therefore focuses on strengthening competences that are immediately applicable in daily youth work practice. The overall objective is to improve the capacity of youth workers to create safe, inclusive, and emotionally supportive learning environments. THE SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES ARE : • To strengthen competences in self-awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, intercultural communication, and constructive conflict management in youth group settings. • To improve the ability of youth workers to respond to emotional and behavioural challenges in diverse and multicultural groups. • To enhance facilitation skills in non-formal education, with a focus on inclusion and participation of young people with fewer opportunities. • To enable participants to integrate tested emotional intelligence methods into their regular youth work activities, mentoring practices, and volunteer programmes. • To reinforce peer learning and exchange of effective youth work approaches across different European contexts. The project is practice-oriented. Participants will test tools during the mobility, reflect on their applicability, and design concrete follow-up steps for implementation within their organisations.By improving individual competences and supporting organisational transfer of methods, Grow with EI contributes to higher-quality youth work, stronger inclusion practices, and more resilient youth workers in line with Erasmus+ priorities.
