Objectives

Well-being and mental health, crucial aspects of our lives, are frequently undervalued and inadequately maintained. We need to pay more attention to the principles necessary for preserving good mental health due to a need for more competencies and awareness. The consequences of such a lifestyle only become apparent with age. Furthermore, individuals who do not adopt a healthy approaches for mental health generally exhibit lower productivity than those who do. Practicing a healthy lifestyle in youth work can significantly enhance individuals' productivity. Mental health issues, such as communication and teamwork problems, as well as physical health problems that hinder one's ability to work, can negatively impact work performance, increase the risk of failure, and give rise to other work-related challenges. Recognizing these concerns, our organization formed a consortium dedicated to address mental and physical health-related issues and their associated challenges. The consortium's point is to implement a project to foster the development of competencies for youth workers and facilitate the exchange of best practices in addressing mental health via proper diet. As the food has huge impact on the mental health. Importantly, this project aims to highlight the positive impact of healthy food on mental well-being among youth workers. By raising awareness and sharing best practices, the project seeks to empower youth wrokers with the knowledge and skills needed to make healthier food choices and understand their benefits for mental health. They will use this knowledge not only for their personal health but while working with youth Through informative and visually engaging tools, such as video tutorials and 4 digital tools, the project will provide practical advice on how healthy eating can support emotional stability, cognitive function, and overall mental wellness. Participants will learn about the connections between nutrition and mental health, enabling them to adopt healthier eating habits. Additionally, the project aims to promote European values, intercultural understanding, and a commitment to well-being among participants and their communities. This will help foster a culture of health and wellness, contributing to a positive and supportive environment for youth workers. Objectives: 1. Empower 24 youth workers from 4 countries by equipping them with the competencies of food literacy and its connection to mentally-healthy 2. To promote an awareness-raising campaign on the impact of food on mental health among youth workers and their beneficiaries as a follow-up of the mobility. 3.
