The project promotes positive change by building inclusive youth-led processes and by creating safe and meaningful spaces for local participation for young people from various backgrounds. In these spaces, young people can come together to reflect on societal issues and on the significance of feeling of belonging and equal opportunities for participation in their everyday environments. The project recognises and helps to bring forward young people’s feelings of fear and uncertainty. Its aim is to support the transformation of experiences of concern and fear into constructive, transformative actions locally that build hope. The project strengthens young people’s agency by enhancing their opportunities to influence their own local living environments and by increasing experiences of equal participation and community at the local level. Young people themselves are at the core of the project: their experiences, perspectives, and ideas from the starting point to the end of the project.
