Voices without Borders transforms young migrants from passive media consumers into active podcast creators who shape public discourse. Over 24 months (July 2026 – June 2028), the project pursues four objectives. First, build media and civic competencies through six training workshops, two showcase events, and a transnational community event reaching 60 training participants. Second, amplify underrepresented voices through multilingual podcast content entering Finnish and European public discourse. Third, strengthen youth civic participation through youth-led digital storytelling. Fourth, build transnational capacity through the SAMHA-Reintegra partnership supported by Mirsal, Moniheli, and Medialukio. Participants are young people aged 18-30 from migrant and refugee backgrounds in Helsinki, 78% with fewer opportunities.
