"Digital Minds" aims to equip young people with the critical thinking skills necessary to navigate the age of Artificial Intelligence and disinformation. In a world where "Deepfakes" and algorithmic bias are becoming the norm, our primary objective is to transform passive consumers of digital content into active, responsible "Smart Digital Citizens". Specifically, we aim to: Demystify Artificial Intelligence: We want to show that AI tools (like ChatGPT or Midjourney) are not magic, but tools that can be mastered and used creatively. Combat Disinformation: By understanding how fake news is generated, participants will learn how to spot it, using concrete fact-checking techniques to protect democratic values. Foster Digital Inclusion: We aim to bridge the "digital divide" by ensuring that these crucial future skills reach young people with fewer opportunities (NEETs, rural youth) who are often left behind by formal tech education. From a youth work perspective, this project demonstrates that complex technological topics can be tackled through Non-Formal Education (NFE). We replace coding lectures with peer-to-peer workshops, simulation games, and debates, making digital literacy accessible to everyone, regardless of their academic background.
