The project aims to implement a youth exchange based on non-formal education, in which artistic and digital creation is used as a central tool for participation, learning and self-expression. It targets young people aged 18 to 25, including a majority of participants with fewer opportunities, and offers them the opportunity to cooperate within international teams to design and produce citizenship-oriented music videos, from the initial idea through to final dissemination. From a youth work perspective, the project seeks to strengthen young people’s autonomy, self-confidence, sense of initiative and capacity for expression. It is built around a structured framework based on learning by doing, experimentation, intercultural cooperation and peer learning. Young people are considered full actors in the project: they are involved in the choice of themes, the organisation of work, the creation of content and the valorisation of the results. The project responds to a need identified in the field: many young people are motivated to create and express themselves, but face difficulties in finalising projects, working collectively, structuring a message and respecting technical and ethical constraints (such as consent, respect for others and credits). By offering an accessible yet demanding production method adapted to current practices, notably through the use of smartphones, the project enables participants to develop concrete and transferable skills. Finally, the exchange aims to connect young people with concrete European issues by transforming societal topics into creative, accessible and shareable content. The partner organisations contribute their local anchoring with young people, their experience in educational support and their ability to facilitate an international collective production within a limited timeframe, thus ensuring a meaningful, useful and valuable European learning experience.
