The objectives of this project are multiple and are based on the power of sport and Olympic history to promote education and youth engagement: - Cultural and European discovery: enable young people to visit Athens, explore its historical and cultural heritage linked to the Olympic Games, and meet European peers to strengthen intercultural understanding. - Language skills development: improve English language skills through exchanges, sports activities, and media production workshops. - Media creation: encourage young people to produce articles, videos, photos, and journals documenting their experiences and learning, fostering creativity and self-expression. - Motor and sports skills development: engage in various sports activities that promote teamwork, cooperation, and fair play. - Social and civic skills development: enhance teamwork, leadership, self-confidence, and the ability to work in an intercultural group. - Awareness of Olympic and civic values: promote fair play, respect, inclusion, solidarity, and engagement in collective projects. - Active participation and youth engagement: young people are active participants in their learning, involved in organizing activities, sharing their experiences, and presenting their productions to different audiences. From a youth work perspective, this project emphasizes non-formal learning and active participation, placing young people at the center of activities, promoting inclusion, and developing their intercultural, social, sports, and media skills, while transforming them into ambassadors of sport and European citizenship.
